Family University presents Beyond the Basics: An In-depth Understanding of the IEP Process. Marni Johnson from North Shore Special Education Consulting will present on Thursday, March 5 at 12 p.m.
During this presentation, we will go beyond the nuts and bolts of the IEP, focusing on a deeper understanding of the IEP process. We will discuss topics such as the parent or guardian’s role on the IEP team, how to problem solve when discussions are difficult, what makes an IEP goal measurable and why progress updates are critical, as well as how to effectively communicate with the IEP team.
