Parenting through Challenging Times Handout
Thursday, January 28, 2021 from 6:30 – 7:30pm
Parenting children in our complex world has always been difficult and COVID-19 presents us with even more unique challenges. As stressful as this time is for our children, it also gives an important opportunity to teach and model resilience. In this evening discussion for parents, Dr. Doug Bolton will share current brain and social science research that can help guide us through these challenging times by highlighting strategies that will help build resilience in our children so that they can effectively manage stress now and in the future.

Parenting Strategies to Foster Child's Success in Remote Learning Handouts
Wednesday, January 20, 2021 9:00 – 10:00am
Participants will be provided with a framework and related strategies to set the stage for success during remote learning. Presenters will address strategies to consider when creating an environment conducive to learning, establishing routines and expectations, and most importantly, taking care of yourself and your child. Time will be provided for participants to plan and reflect on the strategies for their own family.
