Parent Academy Workshops

Parent Academy workshops are single sessions that provide information on a single topic and include strategies for parents to use at home. Workshop presenters are experts from various aspects of the educational and medical fields, and cover a very broad array of topics in the educational and disability arenas. As often as possible, individuals providing professional development in the NSSED member districts will be invited to provide a parent workshop to align the parent and educators learning.

Presenters will address strategies to consider when creating an environment conducive to learning, establishing routines and expectations, and most importantly, taking care of yourself and your child.
